Group fitness classes popular at Fitness Forum

"For the first time in my life, I can't wait to get to my workout class!", says Christie Peebels of Alto Pass. Each weekday around 4pm, the parking lot at Fitness
Forum in Anna begins filling up.  In the group fitness room people are gathering their barbells and dumbbells, and finding their spot, in anticipation of one of the
popular group fitness classes going on this winter and spring at Fitness Forum. One of the most popular classes is "BootCamp" which is instructed by Brenda
Rendleman.  "Why do I think our classes are so popular this year?" says Rendleman, "One reason is that no other place in Union County offers classes like
these.  They are exciting, fun, energetic, and best of all they get results."  Jerri Schaefer of Anna agrees, "No other form of exercise has ever helped tone my
arms, legs and stomach like these classes do."

Rendleman adds, "Also, these classes do not require a lot of coordination or dancing skills.  All it requires is some fortitude."

Christie Peebels  agrees, "At first I was hesitant about joining for fear of failure, thinking the classes would be too hard. But I  put my fears aside and tried it. I
found that Fitness Forum is a fun, friendly family oriented fitness club with professional instructors.  No one made me feel inferior. And although the classes are
indeed challenging, we are working as a group.  A group with great camaraderie, that promotes self esteem and endurance, and drive to succeed. And now, I
wish I would have joined the fitness club much sooner."

"Another reason our classes have increased in popularity" Rendleman continues to say, "is these classes are the new wave of fitness. The workout often
combines interval training, and many other exercises using weights and/or body weight to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, and increase
strength. And you can be at just about any fitness level and be able to participate, and get a good workout."

"Our group fitness classes provide social support for those taking part."  Adds Rebecca Houseright gym owner and group fitness instructor.  "An advantage of
bootcamp or one of our other classes like Tabata or Holy Butt, is that the large group dynamic will often help motivate participants. They are designed to push
people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves in the gym alone."
